Cristina is a new veterinarian with a passion for protecting animals. She fought against shelters that euthanize animals to save money instead of creating a robust animal adoption center for older animals. However, her mentor and kindly old Vet who owned the clinic where she interned, died sud-denly leaving the business to his son who only cared about making money.
