DrGlitter: Inspiration for Teens
A student once asked me if I ever regretted studying literature. She said the more she reads the more sensitive she is to the world and often finds herself analyzing people and their actions. Her love for books is reflected in the way she reads the world. And sometimes the reading is painful- it makes her think too much. Because when you read, you think. And literature is all about the nuances of emotion. She was tired of feeling too much. I understood exactly what she was trying to say. Books will make you think, analyze, and feel. And the more you feel the more vulnerable you may think you are. And if you’re a writer, you may find yourself translating these feelings into words.
