It wasn’t long before Victor was back in London. Unfortunately for him it wasn’t for pleasure. Beck had sent him. The heavy rain beating against the windows of his taxi was relentless and when he stepped out at his destination, a dinghy factory in the East End, icydrops trickled down his neck and made him shiver. Pulling his coat closer, he made his way inside past cars and police standing about as crates and equipment were loaded into trucks.
