Last weekend we finally got round to watching the Noah film with Russell Crow. While the less said about that the better, it did decide me that now was the time to read Geraldine McCaughrean’s book about the Flood, Not the End of the World.
What a lovely story! I know, she’s already famous and she doesn’t need my two penn’orth to make her even more famous, but praise where praise is due. This is a book written for children but with so many layers to it that anyone can enjoy it as their own level. In fact, it is a classic example of how to do it well.
