SPOTLIGHT ON: Jean-Philipe Chapleau, but I go by “JP” to everyone: something about people not being able to saying my name correctly. Plus, only my mother uses my first name when I used to get in trouble

 

How did you get involved in the upcoming Imaginarium convention?

I posted on my blog (http://jpchapleau.blogspot.com/2014/07/open-letters-to-con-organizers-tabletop.html) about how I was dissatisfied that local cons were dropping table-top gaming in favor of sales events only. It seems I was not the only one who shared that opinion. And through the magic of social networking, I got in touch with Stephen Zimmer one of the masterminds of the con. We talked, and I offered to help with the con. So I offered to be a guest to help with gaming-related workshops and panels. From there to here!

I am a big proponent and supporter of local events as… well events! Make them big…

Viv Drewa is a Michigan native who has enjoyed reading and writing since 1963. Though she studied medicinal chemistry at the University of Michigan, her passion has always been writing.
