Where are you from A small town called Thornton which is close to Blackpool, UK.

A little about your self `ie your education Family life etc

I am a writer and a secondary school teacher with a passion for books. I live with my gorgeous husband, our two amazingly rambunctious sons, James (11) and Christopher (6) and our collection of pets.

Fiona: Tell us your latest news?

I have just started writing my own blog – It’s gone live today actually! (http://kaybrooksauthor.wordpress.com/) The intention is to chronicle my trials and tribulations as an overly excitable author but the first few blogs are going to focus on my struggle to deal with the diagnosis of a brain malformation that hit me earlier this year. I’m hoping this will be both informative, as there isn’t much information on the internet regarding the condition, and cathartic!

Viv Drewa is a Michigan native who has enjoyed reading and writing since 1963. Though she studied medicinal chemistry at the University of Michigan, her passion has always been writing. She had been awarded third place for her nonfiction short story about her grandfather's escape from Poland. Later, she rewrote this story and was published in the "Polish American Journal" as "From the Pages of Grandfather's Life" and has republished it on Amazon.com as a short story.
