The Secret Language of Esoteric Christianity

The versions of Christianity we have inherited from our cultural past are very changed from their fiery origins. Although historical records are scant, the original language survives, in the form of the Gospels. We do not need to agree with the Churchโ€™s received interpretation of such things โ€“ we live in an age with an unparalleled freedom to think as we wish.

G.I, Gurdjieff, the founder of what became known as the Fourth Way, spoke of esoteric Christianity only in the last few years of his life. He said that to do so earlier would have been to risk everything. This talk will examine the views that he, and some of his foremost followers, such as Maurice Nicoll, had about the wonderful inner meanings of the Gospels andโ€ฆ

Viv Drewa is a Michigan native who has enjoyed reading and writing since 1963. Though she studied medicinal chemistry at the University of Michigan, her passion has always been writing. She had been awarded third place for her nonfiction short story about her grandfather's escape from Poland.
