Tell us your latest news.

The third book in the Once More series was published last week as an ebook by Tirgearr Publishing.  It’s called Hauntings, Once More and is fifteen ghost stories but no headless riders or clanking chains.  The stories are all  strange supernatural tales.   It has a wonderful cover.  I love it.  Thank you, Charlene.

When and why did you begin writing?

I started writing at the age of nine when my father gave me a second-hand Imperial Portable typewriter.  I was in bed with measles, covered in spots and immediately started to teach myself to type.

When did you first consider yourself a writer?

I was a reporter on a South London group of newspapers and someone suggested I send a couple of my short stories to Woman’s Weekly.  They bought both of them.  I walked on air for days.

Viv Drewa is a Michigan native who has enjoyed reading and writing since 1963. Though she studied medicinal chemistry at the University of Michigan, her passion has always been writing. She had been awarded third place for her nonfiction short story about her grandfather's escape from Poland. Later, she rewrote this story and was published in the "Polish American Journal" as "From the Pages of Grandfather's Life" and has republished it on Amazon.com as a short story. Viv took creative and journalism courses to help in her transition to fulfill her dream of becoming a writer. She worked as an intern for Port Huron's 'The Times Herald", and also wrote, edited and did the layout or the Blue Water Multiple Sclerosis newsletter "Thumb Prints."
