Thank you, Angie for this great review of Devil’s Lake!

I received this book in exchange for an honest review. Let me start by saying that I really enjoyed this book. It was a very quick read for me. I read it in under 3 hours, I just could not put it down. The book starts with a girl that’s been held captive for two years, as she is escaping her captor, trying to get home. Upon returning home she discovers nothing is how it was when she left. So on top of being shaken from being imprisoned, she now has to deal with reality and the changes that have occurred during her time away. While this girl had been through so much this book shows how courageous she had become. She then must have the fact her captor may or may not still be or there seeking her. With the help of her family, she gets her closure, and heals from her turmoil. Great suspense edge of your seat read.
