“Romancing the Fox” by the talented John Tucker

romancing the fox 2

Fledgling producer John McKenzie seeks to give his first movie some Hollywood buzz by hiring a porn actress to star in it. After flying to Los Angeles to interview seven preselected women, McKenzie makes his decision and shocks himself by falling in love with the actress he calls ‘The One.’ While she gradually warms to his confident, but unrealistic notions about love and relationships, the mismatched couple find their budding romance hindered by well-meaning friends, bitter enemies, and jealous associates.

Romancing the Fox is an adult contemporary romance/drama/comedy that will pull at your heartstrings, tickle your funny bone, and make you believe in love, while giving you a peek at the carnal machinations of the adult movie industry.

5-STAR REVIEW — Fox Trotting? By “John Reinhard Dizon”on March 19, 2014 Format: Kindle Edition

Romancing the Fox by John Tucker comes on like a blast from the past from the Jacqueline Suzanne novels of the Seventies. With casting couches, oversexed Hollywood movers and shakers, and quivering flesh at every turn, this is a refresher course on how to make stars and influence the industry. The major protagonist, John McKenzie, fulfills his secret desires by hiring a porn star as the leading lady in his film project. After a number of interviews with tramps representing all categories of porn, Jenna Fox appears as his wet dream cum (!) true. Yet he learns a painful lesson about mixing business with pleasure, and the title of his screenplay, Hell Hath No Fury, becomes a harbinger of the old saying about a woman scorned.

This is an entertaining romp through the bedrooms of the rich and famous, and is recommended for romantic comedy buffs who enjoy some hot spicy sex with their after-dinner cocktails. Romancing the Fox by John Tucker is a worthy addition to the adult comedy genre you won’t want to miss.
