CREATIVE FUTURE – the national organisation that nurtures marginalised artists and writers – is running a free creative writing workshop on May 19th in Brighton
Two poets will lead a frank discussion about poetry, publishing and how to make your voice heard.
Briony Bax is the Editor of Ambit Magazine, a quarterly publication founded in 1959 that features poetry, fiction and contemporary art. She is a published poet and sits on the boards of The Poetry Book Society, The Orphan Support League, Mji wa Neema and Theatre Ad Infinitum.
Dan Duggan is a poet and artist who is in recovery after being an in patient at The Bethlem Royal Hospital for many years. His artwork and poetry have featured at the Southbank Centre and in Ambit, Magma and Poetry and Audience. His first book ‘Luxury of the Dispossessed’ is published by Influx Press.
