When Siegfried receives a puzzling invitation to visit an ailing relative in Germany on the eve of Gus and Camille’s wedding, their honeymoon plans change. Siegfried – Gus’s socially challenged brother-in-law – can’t travel alone, so they gather the gentle giant under their wings and fly to Paris.

After a dazzling tour of Paris, Gus and Siegfried witness a neo-Nazi parade that dissolves into a brawl. The leader, Kirk Muller, is accidentally shot by a member of his own group while he battles Siegfried on the Champs Elyses. Due to a flawed broadcast, Siegfried is credited with the killing, thereby sealing his death warrant from the notorious Nazi factions.

The action escalates. Gus and Camille are attacked and chased through the underground Parisian Catacombs. Siegfried is spirited away by Interpol to his aunt’s home in Denkendorf, where he learns he is the descendant of master composer, Frederick Chopin. Gus and Camille travel to Vienna for their honeymoon, but their false sense of security is shattered when Aunt Frieda’s home explodes. Siegfried is assumed dead, and the grieving couple tries to return to America. Their plan is thwarted when they are pursued through Austria in a high-speed chase that lands them in an Alpine lake.

After spending weeks as prisoners in a Nazi compound in the deep woods of Austria, Gus discovers the leader of the compound is Billy Cummings, an American terrorist from Utah. Tension builds as more and more troops arrive. The compound is scaling up for a massive attack and Gus knows their hours are numbered. They escape when Interpol forces attack the compound. A massive battle erupts. Caught in the crossfire, Gus releases all of the prisoners in the midst of a raging fire. The last prisoner to discovered to be Siegfried.
