‘Dead End’ wins another award

LOOKIE….LOOKIE!! Dead End has won another award!. This time it’s a Free Audiobook production. I’ll keep you posted, but it should be available before the first of the new year. 🙂🙂

Back in June, in the heat of Audiobook Month, we announced the Declaration of Independents Audiobook contest. We asked for you to submit your best books to us – and you didn’t disappoint! We spent the summer reading your entries. At the beach, on the porch, in the park. It was a good summer.

And today, after much deliberation, we’re happy to announce a winner. The prize: a professionally produced audiobook from the award-winning studios of ListenUp.

Viv Drewa is a Michigan native who has enjoyed reading and writing since 1963. Though she studied medicinal chemistry at the University of Michigan, her passion has always been writing. She had been awarded third place for her nonfiction short story about her grandfather's escape from Poland. Later, she rewrote this story and was published in the "Polish American Journal" as "From the Pages of Grandfather's Life" and has republished it on Amazon.com as a short story. Viv took creative and journalism courses to help in her transition to fulfill her dream of becoming a writer.
