““Well!” Jaysen raised his head. “Where have you been?” He observed Sebastian’s body language, and came to the conclusion that he wasn’t feeling well. “Church,” Sebastian simply said, taking the seat where Adam had occupied just a moment ago. “It is warm,” his eyes brightened as much as he could possibly make them. They were still puffy and red. Had the strong doctor been crying? “Church,” Jaysen echoed. “Yes. I was praying for Curtis Brown,” Sebastian whipped a hand over his face, resting his other on his knee, slouching to one side. Jaysen didn’t seem surprised that his roommate was in church, let alone praying. But that was the one thing Sebastian had done before bed.
