I recently completed reading Mr. Parker’s book, and I found it to be very good. The story line kept me reading because of the mystery and intrigue in the plot. This book was much more than another story about a baseball hopeful. It was also a story of family mysteries, hardships, and life in a small West Virginia town.I think this book gives an accurate description of small town WV as well as well-researched facts about minor league baseball. My love for baseball and the state of West Virginia drew me to this book, and I am so glad. I highly recommend this book to other readers.
