“It’s a fun, easy mystery with a lovable character, Carson Reno, who carries you through the story like he’s your best friend” – “Horse Tales” (Carson Reno Mystery Series, Book 4) by Gerald W. Darnell

Yellow crime tape surrounded the burned barn area and stretched all the way around many of the surrounding buildings. Among all this confusion were several large tractors, which seemed to be removing the rubble and what was left of the animal carcasses. It was a terrible sight, and the misting rain made it worse.

Carson Reno RocksThis is the first I’ve read of the Carson Reno series. It’s a fun, easy mystery with a lovable character, Carson Reno, who carries you through the story like he’s your best friend. You will come away feeling like you sat at Chief’s with him and had a hamburger while he told his tale. Enjoyed this book!
