Great little starter story

This short story is a good startup to the Charming series written by Ms. Lawrencovna. It’s easy to read and introduces the characters. Kit, a prince whose father wants him married, hasn’t found a bride. Many balls have been arranged, and then he meets someone unexpected. But if you think this is going to be a typical fairy tale, think again.
Very well written.

Terrific short story. Interesting premise with believable characters. Lettie isn’t particularly sympathetic she’s a little too much of a schemer, but one can certainly sympathize with her plight. Corletta or Lettie grew up in Bethnal Green in a working-class family, and she doesn’t want to end up a drudge like her mother.
