Just Cause by John Katzenbach
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Considering that I saw the movie last year it was not that exciting as I knew how it ends. But that’s not the auhors fault. If I wouldn’t have known the movie yes I would be amazed. It was a really twisted book, where u can’t be sure who is the victim and who is the culprit.
It’s basically about a young, black guy who sits in the death row, he writes a letter to a journalist and tells him he is innocent. He begs the journalist(Cowart) to prove he is innocent + make the judge take back his judgement that was basically based on a forced confession.
On his journey Cowart will learn how close truth and lie sometimes are.
