the little girl you kiss goodnight

An Amateur Sleuth with personal problems seeks her mother’s Killer in the small town she left years ago. She has six suspects and seven days to find the Murderer.

5-STAR REVIEW BY Pelican Girl~~~~~~~

Love love love this book! Our main character is young but far from immature – she’s bold, brilliant, sharp-witted and knows exactly what she wants. As she works to find her Mom’s killer in a small town I find myself at first skeptical that the local PD would tolerate a kid snooping around. This changes fast as I come to see just how smart the girl is and just how ‘small town’ the community is. Along the way I become very invested in the lives of these very well-developed characters. I did predict some of the bottom line/outcome, but I always do. There was a twist that I expect most people do not see coming. There was just the right mix of fun banter between characters, action/adventure and some seedy characters that help to bring this small town to life.
I was very excited to see this is the first in a series as I definitely need more of Steph Linder – I do hope as the series goes on, to find her back in with this colorful cast as well!
