PARANORMAL VS SUPERNATURAL &

WHY I WROTE ABOUT IT

 I have had many people ask me what the difference is between the paranormal versus the supernatural, and why I would write about it. In my mind, they are both one in the same; technically.

First of all, both terms refer to anything that cannot be explained, and/or is considered abnormal by scientific standards of testing, evaluation or deduction of what is considered to be normal.

If you were to check the actual definition of the words, paranormal and supernatural, you would find that according to dictionary.com; their meanings as follows:

Paranormal – of or relating to the claimed occurrence of anevent or perception without
scientific explanation,as psychokinesis, extrasensory perception, orother purportedly
supernatural phenomena.

Or beyond normal explanation

Supernatural – adjective

1. of, relating to, or being above or beyond what is natural; unexplainableby
natural law or phenomena; abnormal.

2. of, pertaining to, characteristic of, or attributed to God or a deity.

3. of a superlative degree; preternatural:

a missile of supernatural speed.

4. of, relating to, or attributed to ghosts, goblins, or other unearthlybeings;
eerie; occult.

So, there you have it. Although I am not an overly religious person, but very spiritual, I do believe in a higher power; many of which is called God.

The reason that I chose to write about the paranormal is simple; I was compelled to do so. As you may or may not know, I wrote the book called PARANORMAL PERSISTENCE  ~CAVEAT~ TRUE EXPERIENCES by DAVID ALLAN. With having the paranormal all around me for as long as I can remember, I felt that by sharing my story could possibly help others who have had similar experiences. I spent much of my early life thinking that there was something wrong with me, because let’s face it; not everyone has unexplainable phenomenon all around them the majority of the time.

I have been asked about how I could remember in such vivid detail, my baby bed from the early 1960s. It has even been implied that I either made the story up, or I was relying on second hand information of which neither are correct. The answer is very simple; I seen the bed every day for several years.

Chapter 1 is called Visitation. After beginning to fall over the bedside rail of what was my baby bed at that time, I was removed from the bed and began sleeping in a regular bed with my brother. I had detailed what the baby bed looked like right down to the finest detail.

My baby bed although empty, sat in the upstairs L-shaped hallway for a number of years in all. When my baby brother Brian was born in 1965, he too slept in the same baby bed as did I. Although I was removed from the bed at around age three, I seen it every time I walked upstairs to my bedroom, and every time I left my bedroom or was just upstairs playing.

The baby bed was finally removed in 1971 or 1972 when my aunt who lived next door, borrowed the bed because she had become a foster parent for a young baby and needed a baby bed. Although I never seen the baby bed again, I was 11 or 12 years old when my aunt borrowed it. So you see; yes I do remember the bed even today.
