Historias de familia. Mi primo Joan Molet, y su esfuerzo por no olvidar el pasado.

Hola a todos:

Los que lleváis más tiempo siguiendo mi blog puede que recordéis que le he dedicado posts con el título ‘Historias de Familia’ a dos tíos de mi madre, Josep y Conrado Miret, que murieron durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial, uno en Mauthausen (en uno de los campos satélites, Floridsdorf) y el otro se había dado por desaparecido en Francia y se sospechaba que había muerto en París, luchando por la resistencia.

A Josep Miret, que fue Conseller de la Generalitat le dedicaron una calle en Barcelona hace años y algunas de las cartas que había enviado a sus familiares (especialmente a su hermana Magdalena) aparecieron en el libro Els catalans als camps de concentració nazis de Montserrat Roig. Pero…

Viv Drewa is a Michigan native who has enjoyed reading and writing since 1963. Though she studied medicinal chemistry at the University of Michigan, her passion has always been writing. She had been awarded third place for her nonfiction short story about her grandfather's escape from Poland.
