I loved this book. It is definitely going on my list as one of my all time favorite books.

This was my first time reading McCammon. Very impressed and will now have to get to his other books that are on my TBR pile.

I have a love for the post apocalyptic genre. There is a real fear in the thought of it, whether it will ever happen, who knows and I doubt some of us will ever even know if it does happen.

I always like and admire the strength and will to live of the characters in these types of books. Sister, Josh, Swan, Robin, Paul, Glory and many others; they all had these characteristics and became some of my favorite characters ever.

Then you have the bad seeds: Macklin, Roland, Friend; you know, the characters you love to hate. You just knew what the Job’s Mask would…

Viv Drewa is a Michigan native who has enjoyed reading and writing since 1963. Though she studied medicinal chemistry at the University of Michigan, her passion has always been writing.
