Jane Firebaugh was born and raised in eastern Tennessee and though she has since moved away, she has carried with her a strong love for mountains. When she isn’t in front of her computer writing, she can usually be found hiking with her dogs in the White Mountains of New Hampshire during temperate weather seasons, skiing there during cold ones or occasionally melting in the Florida sun.

Why Jane loves to write:

When I decided to write a book, the first genre that came to mind was that of cozy mysteries. Though I am quite eclectic in my reading habits, cozies just might be the ones closest to my heart. My books are not the most typical of cozies, as there is a fairly even mixture of mystery and romance and the stories are told through the viewpoint of both the female and male main characters. They are clean and wholesome and safe for all ages.
