I’m so sorry this is happening to you. I am 59 and published my first indie book a little over a year ago. I have not experienced any problems but I did not a couple of reviews that were clearly by Reader’s that did not read the book, or at least not all the way. I just let it go. Not worth getting upset about. My book did have some issues, my fault, and slowly I’ve been correcting them. I think what I really wanted to say is hang in there. I have been shocked and saddened by the vitriol that I read on FB. I never thought when I published my book, I would see the backstabbing comments directed at authors, that I have seen. I’ve been fortunate that it isn’t directed to me, but I feel for these mostly young girls who are targeted. Anyway, I hope thus finds you feeling better about things. I too suffer from depression from time to time and I know how debilitating it can be.

This is a post about a book another author wrote, but I totally agree with you. The backstabbing is horrible and trolls who write reviews just to be mean make me so angry. I’ve learned to ignore them; fortunately I only had two for two different books. @v@ ❤
