…ghostwriters in the sky… getting more than one life through autobiographies…

…this past twelve months has seen this ol’ Scots Jurassic scribbler delve into a hitherto unknown authorly region… by sheer happenstance, I was invited to consider a ghostwriting commission for the life story of a gentleman in Bahrain… a man whom I’ve much respected for many years… apart from the obvious commercial aspect to accepting the project, I was unaware of some of the other uplifting benefits that would result… it’s difficult to explain how humbling it is when another human being feels comfortable enuff with a writer to share many of his or her innermost thoughts…

…as with each of our own lives, there are many instances where fear and joy, highs and lows, mistakes and triumphs, flow and intermingle ad hoc… being permitted to use my own professed scribbling skills to weave these threads into a recognizable tapestry of someone else’s existence is an amazing journey… amazing…

Viv Drewa is a Michigan native who has enjoyed reading and writing since 1963. Though she studied medicinal chemistry at the University of Michigan, her passion has always been writing. She had been awarded third place for her nonfiction short story about her grandfather's escape from Poland. Later, she rewrote this story and was published in the "Polish American Journal" as "From the Pages of Grandfather's Life" and has republished it on Amazon.com as a short story. Viv took creative and journalism courses to help in her transition to fulfill her dream of becoming a writer. She worked as an intern for Port Huron's 'The Times Herald", and also wrote, edited and did the layout or the Blue Water Multiple Sclerosis newsletter "Thumb Prints."
