Creating Kid Success Neighborhoods

The latest installment of our Community Storytelling Initiative video series features CDAD Member Organization Brilliant Detroit. Brilliant Detroit works to create “Kid Success Neighborhoods” through engaging neighbors and families to help create the programming and services provided through each Brilliant Detroit house. Oftentimes, Brilliant Detroit will renovate a residential house in the center of neighborhoods and create resource centers where families can come together for everything from exercise and cooking classes, to school readiness and reading at grade-level programs.
