Nikki Calhoun is on the run, fueled by a terror of the shadowy world she had married into. Desperate to survive and nowhere to hide, Nikki turns to the wolf shifter pack of her childhood, but it’s hard for her to trust anyone, even the people closest to her.
Enforcer and bear-shifter Bret Axel receives a call from his cousin who manages his Portland nightclub about suspicious activity. After obtaining the approval of his Alpha, he travels to Portland. Two nights later, screams of a woman shatter the silence of the dock, and with the help of his cousin, they save her from being killed.

“Echo of Heartbreak, A Recipe for Life” is a short story written in the form of a letter from a very ill mother to her unborn daughter, telling her the incidents surrounding her birth, giving her advice on life, and leaving her the best of her family recipes.

What a great novel about a mother’s sacrifice!
By hesustains
First book I’ve read by this author, I was not disappointed!
As you read this book, you wonder how it will end. Will the mother be right or will there be a surprise ending? You’ll have to read the book to find out. What a bonus with the added recipes. They come from an Italian wife. Being married to an Italian and I love to cook, I can’t wait to try some of these dishes and pass them to our children. My mother in law did…

This is a story of a young girl forced to live the club life by threats and violence. How she survived the man that gave her no choice but to endure. Follow along to see how she got out and took them for a ride. Sit back, get comfortable and let three women tell you a tale of courage, determination and a little humor of the life of “Momma.” How she became the owner of a Motorcycle Club.

Loved!
By Mindy McCray
I loved Mercy’s Angels by Barbi Barnard. Love how its the women’s story which is different from all the other MC books I have read. Hope to see more of Stephen in the next book as he totally swoon-worthy even though he is just a prospect and in no way one of the main characters!

Once Upon a Time… Prince Christophe can’t die. Or, more precisely, if he dies, so does his country. But that hasn’t stopped the King from hosting a ball. And it hasn’t stopped Kit’s enemies from seeking a quick end between the quadrille and the waltz. The Children of the Wood hold out hope that their Assassin Queen will fulfill the prophecy and end Kit’s life. But when Ella vies for the prince’s attention, it’s not a knife that pierces his heart or her own. One waltz at a ball. One trip of a slipper. One Prince. And one Assassin. In the world of the Never Lands, Fairy Tales aren’t quite like you remember.

There once was a castle in the woods, claimed by a terrible Beast…

I was a simple girl, living a simple life of cloths and needles, never seeking adventure, glad to dress those who did. But the world is full of magic, and spells never let rest those caught in their thorns.

A rose by any other name…

The tattoo on my hand was dying, the petals falling faster and faster. All because of the curse within the trees, and those held in its thrall threatening to break free.

What would you give up to save those you love most? What would you risk facing in the Darkness of the Woods?

My name is Amarice. And this is my Tale.

So Sweet

Who but a Beauty can Judge a Beast?

How to Interview a Book Publicist Before You Sign an Agreement – by Joan Stewart…

Chris The Story Reading Ape's avatarChris The Story Reading Ape's Blog

on The Book Designer:

You don’t need a book publicist if you’re ready to learn the tricks on how to promote your book, and you’ll work tirelessly to promote it.

The truth is, most authors won’t.

If you’re fortunate enough to be able to afford one, a competent publicist can jump-start your publicity campaign because she has contacts you don’t have. She knows how to reach them, pitch them and follow up.

…1950s back court tenements in Docklands Govan in Glasgow were awesome places…

Seumas Gallacher's avatarSeumas Gallacher

……it was a different landscape back in the 1950s in the big cities of the UK… Docklands Govan in Glasgow, where Master Gallacher spent his infancy, had more than its share of rented tenement housing… up to three-storeys-high, grey, austere, stone buildings, sum’times red, depending on the material available when the corporation developed them in the latter part of the 1800s…

…by the time I poked my nose into the WURLD, much of the fabric of the municipal edifices in Govan had fallen into slum condition… that didn’t stop us children from enjoying playing in the them… no hint of the modern kids’ panoply of mobile gizmos to entertain ourselves… there was no money for such luxuries, even if they had been available… these handheld indulgences were for an age some sixty years in the future… gangs of thirty or forty street-boys and girls mixed easily to flail long…
