Nicholas C. Rossis blogs about all things books, with an emphasis on book marketing. It all started when he published his first book. As all authors, he was hoping for the world to swiftly recognize the brilliance of his work.
That first month, he sold eight copies, all to friends and relatives.
The next one, none.
He then tried some inspired book marketing, including posting on Facebook a rather pensive picture of him with a piece of paper saying, “please buy my book. It’s only $2.99.” Although that
particular post got over 1,000 likes, it generated not a single sale.
Coming from an Internet marketing background, Nicholas then realized he had to get serious with book marketing. Four years and fifteen books later, he has sold enough books to buy a jet, which he keeps in the top drawer of his desk. He shares every new trick…

Viv Drewa is a Michigan native who has enjoyed reading and writing since 1963. Though she studied medicinal chemistry at the University of Michigan, her passion has always been writing. She had been awarded third place for her nonfiction short story about her grandfather's escape from Poland. Later, she rewrote this story and was published in the "Polish American Journal" as "From the Pages of Grandfather's Life" and has republished it on Amazon.com as a short story. Viv took creative and journalism courses to help in her transition to fulfill her dream of becoming a writer. She worked as an intern for Port Huron's 'The Times Herald", and also wrote, edited and did the layout or the Blue Water Multiple Sclerosis newsletter "Thumb Prints."
