Jesse’s daughter, Cleo, has arrived. Mike greets her, having met her before. She doesn’t waste any time offering him a job. She also has offered a job to Sarena. Mike tells her his brother might be interested and goes outside to make the call in private.
I hated to admit, but she was probably right. Gabe was tied to a place he hated, trapped in a job because of a family, married way too young because he got a girl pregnant. He stepped up and took the responsibility, but maybe he hadn’t been ready for it.
